Editor: The Access Data Transfer Assistant rapidly and easily performs data manipulation and documentation functions often required by a developer when delivering an updated version of a database to a customer. Dumping test or old data and getting all of the customer's current data into the new database with the ability to selectively keep some data is now easy.
The ADTA can also be used to maintain a central master database, updating and/or appending data from remote databases.
ADTA features include:
Delete all data from all or selected tables (Dump Data process)
Delete all data from all or selected tables and import all data (where fields match) from corresponding tables in another copy of the database (Copy Data process)
Update all fields in all or selected tables with data (where fields match) from another copy of a database. (Update/Append Data process)
